before the lights go low

Light above 3000K contains significant blue-spectrum wavelengths that suppress melatonin — the hormone that prepares your body for sleep. Warm amber light (2000–2500K) doesn't. Switching from overhead daylight to our 2200K lamps after 8 PM is one of the most evidence-backed ways to improve sleep onset without any lifestyle changes.

Our beeswax candles produce no synthetic fragrance or paraffin-based soot — both of which can be irritating to cats and dogs. The diffuser blends are formulated at concentrations tested safe for common household pets. The oils used are on the ASPCA's low-hazard list. We do not use eucalyptus or tea tree, which are hazardous to cats.

Each 100ml reed diffuser lasts 60–90 days in a standard-size room (300–500 sqft), with all reeds inserted. For smaller spaces or lighter scent preference, use 3–4 reeds instead of the full set — this extends life to 90–120 days. Replacement oil refills are available separately.
